Description
Very rare antique oriental lucky peony flowers jar with lid in excellent condition. It is hand painted for Fredrick Nelson in Hong Kong. Front and back painted the same lucky peony flowers pattern, the top and lid are painted matching lucky peony flowers, on the other side is painted a peach and a pomegranate.
Peony flowers which in China and Japan are known as the King of Flowers. They symbolize prosperity, good luck, love and honor.
It measures 12″ tall with stand
The stand believe to be made of rose wood and hand crafted flowers leaves pattern.
